Energizer Canada needed help collecting
production data from the shop floor and sending it to their SAP
manufacturing system.
CommercePoint developed a shop floor data
collection system that allowed production and time information to
be collected at the shop floor and then uploaded to the SAP
accounting system. The shop floor system had to be flexible
and quickly modifiable to adjust to changes in procedures and practices.
Following the success of the shop floor data
collection system an Employee training and skills history
organizer was added. This
simplified the process for organizing training programs for
employees and the process of searching and matching
employees to jobs on the shop floor.
